Rhubarb is a vegetable but is generally prepared and served in the same manner as a fruit, since it is most often cooked and sweetened with sugar.
4 cups fresh rhubarb, cut
1 cup marshmallows
1 cups sugar
1 3 oz. package of strawberry flavored gelatin
1 package yellow cake mix
1/2 cup butter
1 cup water
whipped topping, optional
1. Cut rhubarb and place in the pan.
2. Sprinkle marshmallows over the rhubarb. Pour sugar evenly over the rhubarb and marshmallows.
3. Sprinkle gelatin over the layer of sugar.
4. Put butter into bowl,Melt butter and add the dry cake mix. Stir until well mixed. Crumble the cake mixture over the rest of the ingredients in the pan.
5. Drizzle water over the top and then place in a 200° c. preheated oven. Bake for 1 hour .
6. Allow to cool and top with whipping cream.
