This is the quintessential Greek dinner party dip. Like many Greek recipes, it is so simple to make, and so delicious.
200g Greek youhurt
1 medium sized cumcumber
3 cloves garlic
1 bunch mint
2 tablespoon olive oil
juice of half lemon
salt and pepper
pinch of ground cumin
1. peel and mince the garlic. cut the mint and grate the cucumber.
2. Place the cucumber in a bowl with the Greek yoghurt, garlic, mint, olive oil, cumin.
3. mix well to combine and add the lemon juice, salt and pepper to taste.
4. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour. Pour into a serving dish and serve with toasted pita bread wedges.
