Chicken wings do body good, here is the sweet and sour classic, honey for the sweet, red wine vinegar for the sour and hot pepper sauce for zing.
3 pounds chicken wings
¾ cup chilli sauce
2 tablespoon honey
4 tablespoon soy sauce
2 teaspoons dry mustard
1 teaspoon red wine vinegar
5 drops hot pepper sauce
2 green onions, sliced
1 teaspoon salt
1. Combine chilli sauce, honey, soy sauce, mustard, vinegar, hot pepper sauce, green onions and salt in a large bowl. Add chicken wings; toss and soak 1 hour.
2. Heat oven to 370c. Grease a large baking pan.
3. Place chicken wings on prepared baking pan. Bake in heated 370c oven, turning every 15 minutes, 45 minutes or until fully cooked.
4. Increase oven temperature to broil. Broil chicken wings on both sides until crisp, 2 to 3 minutes per side.
